Walk With Me?

I’d just like to walk with you there,

To sit in the grass and breathe in the air.

To have a laugh,

To share an experience, 

To appreciate the beauty in things unknown and mysterious.

But what I want most,

Is to know how you think.

To see the colors through your eyes,

The fading blue into pink.

To sit in the still,

To appreciate the quiet.

To witness the sun settling,

To greet the moon as she rises.

To look in your eyes,

And see the reflection of mine.

To feel the warmth,

Transcending time.

To watch the golden rays play,

And dance across your skin.

To sit with the moment,

Until it comes to an end.

Because to cherish it now,

Is to hold it again.
